Olivia Parsons, MFT-LP

NOW IN-NETWORK WITH AETNA
Specialties: Relational Patterns, Life Transitions, Couples Therapy, Anxiety, Burnout, Dating, Stress Management
Clients: Open to all ages & life stages — individuals and couples
Hi, I’m Olivia.
You’re someone who is deeply interested in introspection and learning more about yourself. You’ve reflected on your relationships, tried to communicate more effectively, pushed through stress, powered through burnout. Maybe you’ve even told yourself, “Why isn’t this working?”
The same dynamics keep appearing - maybe at work, in dating, in long-term partnerships, and with family. The same anxiety before hard conversations and the same exhaustion from carrying too much. That’s where I come in, and together we’ll explore:
The relational patterns shaping your connections (how you attach, protect, and pursue)
The anxiety and burnout signals your body has been sending
How life transitions (career shifts, breakups, new roles, big decisions) are impacting your sense of stability
Practical tools for stress management, communication, and emotional regulations that actually work in real life
What it could look like to live a life that feels intentional, grounded, and aligned with your values
Our focus will be on understanding the self and the patterns, not just the argument, not just the symptom. Because once the pattern is clear, you can choose differently and see real change.
This is therapy for people who want more than coping. It’s for those who want healthier relationships, steadier nervous systems, and transitions that feel meaningful instead of overwhelming.
Not just to function, but to relate, live, and love with clarity.
My Approach
My foundation within the MFT approach to therapy allows me to integrate a relational and systemic lens to everything we do. Not only will our work be about understanding patterns, but shifting the cycle, allowing you to move through life with more clarity, security, and self-trust.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the corporate world. That experience allows me to deeply understand the realities of high pressure environments, performance expectations, burnout cycles, and the anxiety that can come with always being “on.” This perspective informs how I support clients navigating demanding careers while trying to maintain meaningful relations and a sustainable pace of life. This is therapy for people who are ready to understand their relational blueprint, interrupt cycles, and build a life that feels intentional and emotionally safe.
I also integrate:
Emotionally Focused Therapy – To help identify and transform emotional processing, strengthen one’s sense of self, and manage intense emotions rather than being overwhelmed by them.
Attachment-Based & Systemic Interventions – To understand how your relational patterns were formed and how they’re maintained today.
Mindfulness & Nervous System Regulation – To help you slow down reactive patterns, manage anxiety, and navigate stress with greater steadiness.
Communication & Repair Tools – Practical, research-informed strategies to strengthen emotional safety, improve conflict repair, and build more secure bonds.
What Working With Me Feels Like
I bring personability, enthusiasm, and structure into the room. I move at your pace, not mine. Some moments of therapy call for depth and slowing down. Others call for skill-building, clarity, or direct feedback. All the while, allowing for humor and genuine connection to be present. Therapy can be serious and hard—but we can also celebrate your successes and allow for levity.
Above all, therapy with me is a partnership. I bring clinical training, relational insight, and an empathetic presence. You bring your lived experience, your patterns, your questions, and your goals. Together, we stay grounded in curiosity rather than judgment, and in care rather than criticism.
