Hi, I’m Melissa.

You’ve built a life that looks great on paper—so why does it still feel like something’s missing?
If you’re a high-achieving, self-aware New Yorker struggling with anxiety, burnout, relationship patterns, or constant self-doubt, you’re not alone. You might find yourself overthinking every decision, second-guessing your worth in dating or work, and trying to silence an inner critic that never turns off.

As a licensed psychologist in New York City, I specialize in therapy for millennial and Gen Z professionals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. My style is warm, real, and collaborative. In sessions, we’ll laugh together, cry together, and get to the heart of what’s keeping you stuck. I’m your biggest cheerleader—and your reality check when you need it most.

Whether you’re facing dating fatigue, people-pleasing, imposter syndrome, or a career crossroads, therapy with me is a space to be fully yourself. No filters. No pressure to perform. Just space to slow down, feel your feelings, and find your way forward.

My Approach

I combine psychodynamic depth with practical tools and the kind of honest reflection that challenges old patterns and creates lasting change. My work is rooted in relational therapy—we’ll explore how early experiences and relationship patterns shape how you show up today. Not to dwell on the past, but to help you move forward with clarity and self-trust.

I also integrate:

EMDR Therapy – To process the experiences that still impact how you think, feel, and relate.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) – To help you connect with and understand your inner parts—like your perfectionist, people-pleaser, or inner critic.

Solution-Focused Work – For the moments you need concrete strategies, a plan, or just someone to help you get unstuck.

This is therapy for people who are self-aware and are ready to go deeper and take real action, to see real change.

What Working With Me Feels Like

Therapy with me is real, collaborative, and grounded in trust. I’m not the silent type—and we won’t just skim the surface. Some sessions are deep and reflective. Others are focused, strategic, or full of humor as we laugh at the chaos life throws our way. I show up as a real person: warm, down-to-earth, and fully present—and I create space for you to do the same.

Clients often tell me they feel like they have someone fully in their corner—part therapist, part teammate, part biggest cheerleader. Together, we’ll unpack what’s no longer working, quiet the inner critic, and reconnect you to your voice. This work helps you feel more grounded, more confident, and more yourself—so you can move through relationships, work, and everyday life with more clarity and self-trust.
